Plans & Billing
Frontend has two plans. AI usage isn’t part of either: the agents run on your own accounts with their providers.

Plus is billed per seat, and each member of the team is a seat. Seats follow your members, so adding someone to the team adds a seat to the subscription and removing them removes it. Each seat adds 40 hours of server compute to the team’s shared pool.
Managing your subscription
Section titled “Managing your subscription”Upgrade, see your seats and compute hours, and manage billing from your team’s Subscription page. Only the team’s owner can cancel the subscription.
AI costs
Section titled “AI costs”Frontend doesn’t charge for AI. Each agent signs in with your own account, and its usage is billed by its provider:
- Claude Code — your Claude plan or Anthropic API usage
- Codex — your ChatGPT plan or OpenAI API usage
- OpenCode and Pi — the provider you connect
- Image and video generation — your team’s OpenRouter account
