Custom Domains

While every published project receives a default Vercel domain, you can also assign your own custom domain for a more professional presentation.

  1. Open your project in Frontend
  2. Navigate to Custom Domains below the Code tab
  3. Enter your domain name (e.g., yourbrand.com or shop.yourbrand.com)
  4. Follow the provided instructions to verify domain ownership

After adding your custom domain, Frontend will display both an A record and a CNAME record. You’ll need to add the appropriate DNS record with your domain name provider:

For Top-Level Domains (e.g., yourbrand.com)

Section titled “For Top-Level Domains (e.g., yourbrand.com)”

Add an A record pointing to the IP address shown in the Custom Domains tab.

For Subdomains (e.g., www.yourbrand.com, shop.yourbrand.com)

Section titled “For Subdomains (e.g., www.yourbrand.com, shop.yourbrand.com)”

Add a CNAME record pointing to the value shown in the Custom Domains tab.

  1. Add the appropriate DNS record with your domain name provider
  2. Allow time for DNS propagation (typically 24-48 hours)
  3. Once verified, your site will be accessible via your custom domain

Frontend will automatically handle SSL certificate provisioning for your custom domain, ensuring secure HTTPS connections for all visitors.
